Strut Braces

Strut braces are used in a car to increase chassis stiffness and improve handling. Able to connect to either the rear or the front strut towers, strut braces are especially effective in cars that are prone to chassis flex or body roll issues, as they reduce the load placed on the strut towers individually, effectively tying them together and not allowing them to flex.

To turn a road car into a competition car, certain modifications are required to improve handing for use on the track. Strut braces offer a way to do this; reducing the change in car suspension geometry whilst cornering. This offers increased responsiveness of the car around corners, giving a noticeable difference to the driver.

Strut braces also have the benefit of reducing the chance of a roll, as the weight of the car during a corner is transmitted through the bar rather than placing pressure on just one side of the vehicle.

Made from the same high tensile materials as our roll cages, our strut braces are able to maintain a high tensile strength allowing them to be designed with smaller material dimensions, reducing the weight whilst maintaining strength.

We offer a range of braces for a variety of different manufacturers and
models for the front and rear of the vehicle as well as underside chassis braces.
